Last restaurant from vacation! Woohoo. This was one of our favorite meals. Fin Bistro is only open for dinner from Monday to Saturday and it is a fresh fish restaurant. We both love fish and were looking forward to a good seafood meal.
I ordered the shellfish meyer lemon brodetto: local clams, Key West rock shrimp, jumbo prawns, calamari, scallops with corn risotto cake in white wine tomato lemon broth. I gave Brandon my shrimp as I’m allergic.
The shellfish was perfectly cooked and the broth was so flavorful. The corn risotto cake was so interesting and it soaked up all the flavor.
Brandon ordered the panko crusted gulf snapper: over Florida Keys rock shrimp and Kabocha squash risotto, with Macadamia coconut brown butter sauce, micro herb sprouts. It wasn’t gluten free but I wanted to include it.
He ate it all 🙂
For dessert, we got the flourless chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream and a raspberry sauce. Brandon and I finished this in less than a minute. It was so chocolately and warm.
